Jin Baoping

The artist lives in Xi'an, the ancient capital of China. He creates his horses in his imagination, natural, simple and austere. Powerful line, somber background, we can feel vitality and high speed of his horses which gallop from remote ancient to today. Time went by quickly, but during so long time, only one thing left, we can find the answer in Jin's litho.

Jin was born in Shanxi in 1956, and now he is professor of Department of Graphic Arts of Academy of Fine Arts in Xi'an, member of Association of Chinese Artists and member of Association of Chinese Graphic Artists. Jin graduated in 1976 in Shanxi Academy of Fine Arts, and got the master's degree in 1984, in 1992, he went to Oster University in U.K. for attend in a advanced studies. His artworks were exhibit in China, Taiwan, Holland and U.K., and in 2001, he won the prize "Bridge" at the second Chinese-Japanese Fine Prints Exhibition.
