Wu Enqi

Born in 1953, nationality Mongolia, he was graduated from Normal School of Zelimumeng, and after that, he went to Beijing for his postgraduated studies in printmaking department of Central Academy of Fine Arts. Now he is fine art editor of Zelimu newspaper, member of Chinese Artists' Association, member of Chinese Printmakers' Association, president of Zelimumeng Artists's association, vice president of Inner Mongolia Printmakers' Association, president of Tongliao city's Artists' Association. His artworks were chosen to be shown at the 6th National Fine Arts Exhibition, the 9th, 11th, 12th,13th and 14th National Print Exhibitions and won the outstanding prize of the National Print Exhibition, Prize of "Print world" by People's Fine Arts magazine, second prize of National minorities Fine Arts Exhibition, Sarina prize by Inner Mongolia government.

Awards:

1999 won "Luxun Print Prize" and honored as "Chinese outstanding printmakers of 1980'"

2000 was elected in the exhibition of "100 years of Chinese Prints"

2003 won "outstanding prize" of Chinese "Golden Colors" Fine Arts Exhibition

2003 won "Stars prize" of the 12th National Fine Arts Exhibition

2003 won "Sarina prize" by Inner Mongolia government.
